Observation details
The owls appeared on our walk back (after 19:00), in response to L Erla B's hooting (voice). First one at usual spot: north end of pedestrian tunnel for North Hills Drive. That owl was in full view in a tall hardwood for at least five minutes. The other three were heard at the other usual spot: the metal crossroads sign for East Fork and Mine Creek trails, north of the Lynn Road overpass. Only one of those three owls appeared, but it was chased off by several American Crows. Times: 19:05 and 19:40. Photos taken of the first BDOW only.
