Observation details
I heard the distinctive "che-bek" call (familiar to me from the eastern U.S.). The calling bird came out to playback, and was briefly joined by a second. I photographed and recorded the calling bird. The habitat was riparian alders, similar to Least Flycatcher habitat in the east.
