Observation details
Conservative count. 5 clusters of terns in different parts of the marsh that we surveyed. The most terns we had around us was 17 circling around at one moment. Plus several other distinct clusters of terns encountered throughout the large marsh. The three of us agreed upon a conservative estimate of 35 individual birds. Liberal estimate was ~50 terns.
