Observation details

Bird singing only 4 different 2-3 syllable phrases over and over during at least 40 minutes. Was most of the time very high up (about 40 ft) in a tree at edge of main East-West trail in Summit Forest. Only saw fly across from one branch to another 3 times, no color as high up and against the sky. Tone thinner than phrases sung by Red-eyed Vireos, who sing many phrases during a song bout, this distinguishes PHVI from REVI. Will submit recording shortly.
