!!!!!! 34 that we counted! so tiny! so cute! well camouflaged. roosting in depressions in sand just in middle of beach. Seemed liked nesting, but apparently don't nest til March? Accidentally happened upon plovers, no signs or anything. One was banded with a yellow band
