Observation details
Bird found singing at about 11:15. Seen well at close range. Song was similar to Cassin's Vireo but with even more 'blurriness' to it. Bird was similar to a Cassin's in terms of size and structure but appeared a bit chunkier and bigger-billed. Underparts were bright yellow on the throat and breast fading out to a clean white on the belly and vent. There was a narrow olive-green line along the flanks. The head, hindneck and mantle were a bright olive-tinged green. The bird had yellow spectacles that were not quite as conspicuous as those of a Cassin's. The eye-ring was broken narrowly behind the eye. The wing were dark with two prominent white wing-bars.
