Observation details
Continuing bird found by Don Thompson, in the location he described along the south side of the upper pond, about here: (43.6247022, -70.2568066). Singing frequently and giving visuals in the mid-canopy between the pond edge and the trail. Bright yellow bird with unmarked face, grayish wings, large (for a warbler) dark bill, white vent area and UTCs. Song a string of several (11 in both of the recorded songs) loud, dry, high-pitched, emphatic notes, all on the same pitch; not totally dissimilar from some AMRE songs but louder and sharper sounding. Pics & audio. My fourth in Maine and my third at Hinckley!
