Observation details

We headed south from the road, eventually coming to an area with high and long ledge to the west, and using other eBird pins as a guide, we knew we had reached the right area. First Heard by Ali and then by Merlin @ about 8am 0.8 miles into the woods (44.006149, -73.167083) Circled around us, always high in the canopy, visiting tall trees for 35 minutes. We never saw the bird, but all of us heard it numerous times from different directions. Recorded by Ali (recordings to follow). Recording is faint, but 3 songs are heard (at 0, 10, 17 second marks) with the clearest one at 10 second mark.
