Observation details
Continuing. Almost same as Glossy Ibis except more white and red in face - legs also redder than Glossy's. When I arrived at the preserve, I was informed that the bird flew off just minutes prior. Within about 30 minutes I found the bird popping its head up now and again in the tall marsh grass in the SW part of the preserve. It then flew to the puddles just east of the marsh trail where it was back-lit and moved to the southern central part of the marsh with decent photo ops. Met Joe and enjoyed chatting and viewing the bird.
