Media notes
An Acadian Flycatcher is giving its Territorial Song—the explosive 2-note song—with a bit of quivering Dawn Song interspersed. When he does the quivering Dawn Song, he flutters his wings and flies a bit and then sits on a perch—from 25’ up to 10’. He sometimes gives the song from a perch and other times in flight. This is along the McCormack Lake campground road. Background includes: Ovenbird, Kentucky Warbler, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, White-eyed Vireo, N. Parula, E. Wood-Pewee. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
