Media notes
A Yellow-breasted Chat is singing from a tree right at the edge of McCormack Lake at the dam. He’s sitting ca. 20’ above the ground and then (2nd cut) flies to another, shorter tree right on the fairly open edge of the dam. Successive cuts of the same bird. Background includes: Tufted Titmouse, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Kentucky Warbler, Indigo Bunting, Red-eyed Vireo, Pileated Woodpecker, and frogs. Recorded using a Fostex FR-2LE with a Sennheiser ME62 & Telinga Universal 22" parabola.
