Observation details
Continuing bird first find by Tom Fangrow in his backyard on May 27 and refound down by the tracks on May 29. The bird was nowhere to be seen for about the first 15 to 20 minutes that I was there and after walking around and searching all power lines and fences within the general area. I then saw a large Columbid flying over the neighborhood and was able to see in binoculars that it had obvious and bright white wing stripes. It then landed on the lines at approximately 33.6058712, -117.6761129 and stayed for about one minute before taking off east over the neighborhood again. Did not see it return. Managed one single usable and very distant photo, as the dog was yanking my left arm every time I tried to take a picture. White wing stripe clearly visible in the photo despite abysmal quality.
