Observation details
On Laguna de la Casilla an adult male and female were floating and resting together with their heads tucked into their backs. They were floating close to reeds. On Laguna Grande there were 8 adult females and 7 adult females floating. There were some signs of male/female pairing. At Laguna Escondida I found another 38 adults. Most of them were sheltering under the overhanging tamarisk bushes at the edge of the laguna. There were 19 males and 18 females.
