Observation details
Continuing bird found a few days ago. Potential first state record. Contrasting dark brown body and buffy head and neck. Not as dark as American Black Duck and black duck typically shows silvery tertials. Legs and feet orange. Short dark brown eye line and dark crown, greenish bill, dark spot at bill gape. Head and neck very buffy with unstreaked throat. Smaller than Mallard.
