Observation details
I was chasing the WT Swift that Norm and Jim had here earlier today, but this was the only swift I saw. It was distant and my views weren't ideal, but I just don't see the contrasty white on the belly or flanks that a WT Swift should show. Granted, this bird seems larger, lankier, and longer-tailed than most Vaux's; but that could just be an artifact of the way it was flying. So anyway, I don't see any reason to think that I found the same bird the guys had earlier today.
