Observation details
Continuing bird at this site. Bird was generally at about 32.854999, -116.420336, where it had been localized previously by two birders already present when I arrived. Bird was present (calling infrequently) for the entire observation period, but was difficult to see. Got a roughly four second clear view of the bird, mainly from the side: small flycatcher with a rounded head, longish tail, short primary projection, two wingbars, somewhat dusky breast and yellowish wash on belly. Bird sang very infrequently, and generally just the quick "seebip" portion of its full song; the full song was given only once or twice. Short clip below contains two seebip calls in sequence, which was pretty generous singing by this afternoon's standards.
