Observation details
Continuing since 5/18 when found by Karen Kreiger. Please use this public hotspot. DR writes: "the vireo was singing in tall cottonwoods just across the Big Sur River at the south end of the main parking lot when we got out of our car. We spent some effort trying to tape it and see it, but within 20 or so minutes, we were chased out of that area as it was being used as a worksite for moving a gravel pile. We eventually got good but brief views of the chunky, big-headed vireo at mid-to-upper levels. Seen from below it had prominent yellow 'spectacles' against a darker face, bright yellow throat and upper breast, sharply demarcated from bright white belly; and two prominent white wingbars on dark upperwing coverts,"
