Observation details
Met up with some eastside birding greats as we looked for the vireo in a small window of time between work. At first, it hadn’t been seen for an hour and our hopes weren’t super high but at the last second, RG spotted it in a red maple by the bathroom. It flew to a cottonwood over the creek and eventually to the willow thicket in the center of the west lawn. Small grayish olive bird with yellow spectacles and a white throat. Will add photo.
