Observation details
Continuing birds, apparently mating, so please do not playback. Saw both male and female. Male was quite visible singing with classic song sounding almost like a Mockingbird. Unmistakable head pattern with a rusty crown and a rusty cheek patch. Near white stripe over the eye with a prominent black malar. Saw with mate in Mimosas across the scrubby field from turnout. Heading west on GA 113 toward Stilesboro, take a left (south) on Brandon Farm Road. 200 yards south of 113, on the right, you can park at an asphalt pullout 34.108237°N 84.900745°W Bird was seen in the Mimosas to the west across recently planted field. Walk the road to the south beyond very large tree on the right (west) side of the road. Male returned to and sang from the power-line on the east side of the road just to the south of that tree.
