Observation details
It was in the lower campground, and was not associating with the Common Ravens in the area. It seemed more compact and smaller overall than the ravens I'd been seeing, and I thought it was probably the same American Crow seen and photographed back on March 4 (see https://ebird.org/checklist/S130316163). But in comparing this bird with the photos of that one, it seems to be noticeably heavier-billed, especially in the first photo where the bird is in profile. After consulting with more experienced birders I'm comfortable reporting it as American Crow. One of my correspondents thinks there have been two crows reported from here, so maybe this is one of the two, and is heavier-billed than the one photographed on March 4. I did not hear this bird vocalize.
