Observation details
Continuing bird found on the Pinnacles Trail a little more than three miles from the trailhead at Chisos Basin. Past a rock slide on the right going up the trail. Fairly dense shrubs and trees. There was a male Colima warbler singing from a high dead branch 60% of the time we were there. If you hear/see the Colima you are in the right place. It was a small warbler with a bright yellow chest and a dark red spot. It called continually. A buzzy harsh trill. Sounded annoyed. It showed up around 1:30 and was still there when we left at 2.
