Observation details
Bird found by Robyn Hayes this morning. It took a lot of walking around the area in the riverbed around the flume. I was getting frustrated but then I turned around and flushed it, right next to me. Loooooong yellow legs with impossible feet on the body of a small coot-like bird, dark with a white rump. It flew into a salt cedar and effectively disappeared. It eventually popped back into this dimension and flew to another salt cedar closer to the flume, where it could be seen only at certain angles. I have pics, but they aren’t great. Eddy #396!
