Observation details
Changed from GCTH/BITH upon closer examination of audio. Audio mostly descends on final note like GCTH. Plumage entirely uniform olive cold grey, rather than reddish and lively for BITH. Went to check on WODU nestbox (which has since disappeared, strangely) and heard an unfamiliar thrush’s song thinking GCTH/BITH because I have BITH on my mind from the first Philadelphia Co. record. A GRCA decided to meow in the middle of the whole recording, especially when the thrush wanted to sing. Tracked it down, friendlier than any thrush I’ve ever seen (except maybe an AMRO or two) and quite inquisitive of me, contrary to BITH’s fabled secretive nature. Odd to be singing in the middle of the afternoon, especially with the number of dog walkers that have been through here. Must really like that patch (39.8607849, -75.4888177).
