Observation details
***very rare. Found earlier by V. Zollo. 2 females in breeding plumage seen together in the middle of the upper (southern) pool (scope mandatory). Seen at a great distance, but distinctive. Clear phalarope shape with dark gray head and body with white cheek/throat and red neck. Poor digiscoped photos.
