Observation details
Probably same bird reported by these observers Monday. (Was also heard again here Tuesday morning by Chris, but no list made.) Seen clearly by both via 12x binos. Seen by Pam while singing. Recording attached. Constantly singing and very active in upper story of cottonwoods in dense deciduous wooded area. Very responsive to playback (Song 2, Sibley app for iPhone). Vireo with bright yellow throat and breast contrasting with white belly. Yellow “spectacles.” In the area between the highway and Limpia Creek, at the west end of the first long guard rail after you leave town. 4 photos attached.
