NOTES: (Breeding status: Territorial; Sp. sound: freq; Song: ?dawn; Gen. Climate: arid; cover den: sparse) (ML Notes: In addition to song, call notes can be heard throughout the recording) [Due to the somewhat amorphous nature of these songs, it is difficult to say how many there really area. Moreover, their complexity and the short intervals between them suggest that they represent an undescribed Type II (or "dawn") song of this species (see also LNS #20822, 56855, 56871). Soft call notes, more like a "flight" call than the "bink" contact call, are scattered throughout this recording. There are "cryptic" stop-starts at 1:025 and 2:055. Quality added (1-2) - CAM - 15 June 2005]. Habitat: Desert, Scrub.
