Observation details
One bird was singing while another was calling. Song similar to a Veery, but softer and choppier. Not ascending like the Swainson’s thrushes that were singing. The call was a loud “veer” repeated every few seconds that was louder and higher pitched than a Veery call. This is my 4th observation of GCTH this spring between Bell and Coryell counties.
