Hybrid Little/Snowy is on far right preening.
Observation details
Significantly longer plumes than any of the 25 Snowy Egrets that it was grouped with on the rookery island. Initially I thought that it was the Little Egret seen previously in this area, but upon closer examination it appears this one is not the same individual. Long plumes are not as obvious as in previous Little Egret photos and also many small plumes mixed with the two longer ones on the head.
