Observation details
slightly flooded forest, a mix of mature White Pine and Oak with younger maple and Hemlock. Bird singing from deep in the swamp. Reminicent of Ovenbird but cadence (length of time between song phases and the speed of the song itself) seems quick. Lots of Ovenbirds singing / calling this morning with one or two atypical songs, mostly two part song. Considered Wilson's in the field but leaving as sp. (UFO), bird not seen.
