Observation details
Continuing individual. Beautiful male Garganey observed with a variety of other dabbling ducks. As with previous observations it was in the southernmost pond when it was feeding when I first saw it, but fairly quickly climbed out of the water on the southern embankment of the pond. It had a bold white eyebrow that started just in front of the eye and continued back through the nape. The eyebrow separated a black crown from the purplish-brown face and neck. There was some contrast between the head and the brown breast. Silver flanks with brown undertail coverts.
