Observation details
I feel fairly certain that I recorded a Gray-Cheeked Thrush singing and calling in this riparian area. I have compared this bird's songs and calls to those of the Gray-Cheeked Thrushes on both the Cornell Guide to Birdsongs and on the xeno-canto website. I think the songs and calls of this bird match well to those in these two references. The sonograms on xeno-canto of Gray-Cheeked Thrushes and those I generated from this bird with Raven Pro software also match well. I recorded over eight minutes of this bird singing. Here are a few short sections of songs and calls. A Louisiana Waterthrush sings prominently in the final recording, which records several Gray-Cheeked Thrush calls.
