Observation details

Continuing 1st for Britain, 3rd day, found by Gary Woodburn. Large, short billed wader, sandy mantle and wings, white belly, grey head and breast with distinct dark band across lower breast. Yellow legs, yellow and black bill. In flight, distal wing blackish, inner wing with notable white band from carpal to secondaries. Photo and call to be added
