Observation details
I found a Least Flycatcher around 7:30 AM near the Surrey Rd entrance on the east side of Uplands Park. The bird was located by call which was a liquid "whit" call that was quite similar to that of Willow and Dusky Flycatchers. The bird was very active, flitting low down in the thick shrubbery. I had brief however decent viewing several times. Small compact empid with large rounded head and broad bill with lower mandible bright orange on inner half and dark at tip. Olive-gray overall with a bold white eye-ring, wingbars and tertial edges, short primary projection and tail. The bird's behaviour made it hard to photograph but here are my best shots.
