Observation details
There were 7 sandhill cranes in all; 5 were way in the back of the farm at the intersection of Radiker Road with Old Post Road. Someone in another vehicle alerted us to two more about 300 feet in from the road on Thayer Hill Road just past its intersection with Old Post Road. All had the rusty plumage. We heard them as well as saw them.
