Observation details
The first bird I heard on the east end of the property and made a recording. The second bird was on the west end of the property. It is possible that it is the same bird, I just can’t say. There is about 1 miles between the two ends. As for the poor recording I wrote this; This was a tough audio to get as the bird was a distance from me and the wind was blowing but I thought it was worth trying. This bird is not seen in Eagle County very often and it is even more rare to hear it. I could see the bird at the top part of a large willow but behind a bunch of branches. The grackle sounds can be heard above the wind at; :35, :50 & :51, 1:19, 1:25 & 1:26 (chuck sound), between 2:01 & 2:03, 2:47 (a little note), 3:12 and 3:42. There is also a Black-billed Magpie in the background.
