Observation details
thanks to an alert from other birders - Thelma Brown who found it, Darcy Monchak who got great photos of it and Ellen Zimmerman who sent out the alert - travelled here to search for this bird; remarkably, although I had been sent photos showing this bird flying away, it was back on the same tree when I arrived - an unmistakable large white bird with yellow bill - but was mostly hunched over avoiding the blowing rain; attaching photos including when it flew away again (12:21)
