Observation details
An admittedly large number, counted by pairs, and groups of 3 or 4. We birded from Ruby Road to at least one kilometer past the end of the unofficial road, well beyond Castle Rock, and at almost every turn there were more myarchids, some were ash throated "calling Ka-brick", but the majority were smaller, brighter bellied and calling "whip wheer", or just " wheer" and we would pass each group then encounter more in the narrow canyon, so we were not recounting, and we didn't count any more on the return. Photos and recordings.
