Observation details
Early. A large peep with a long, tubular body, roughly midway between the size of a Least Sandpiper and a small Pectoral Sandpiper. Obviously long-winged with an attenuated hind end. White rump visible in flight. Interestingly, I missed this species during my ~10-day stint along the Upper Texas Gulf Coast (8-16 April).
