Observation details
Found by Jean Farnan earlier today; known nesting area. A tall, tan colored shorebird with long yellow legs, thin neck, small head, thin yellow bill with a black tip. Very handsome bird. Foraging in dry grass and eventually scouting out the area by hopping up on wooden fence poles.
