Observation details
SRs. First heard call at 06h55. Exactly at the spot where Kavi said he found it the previous day. Very vocal & singing continuously till about 08h40, while foraging, feeding, preening, etc. Then became much quiet and focussed more on feeding and foraging. Chased off by Tailorbirds. Also some altercation with Common Chiffchaff. Interaction with Hume's Warbler was indifferent. Not vocal at all after it started to become warm say after 09h00. Only calling the 'Let's Kiss Him' primary song, at times interspersed with thin 'peeyu' whistle occasionally. Probing branches and twigs of various trees in addition to regular probing in foliage, in flowers of keekar, neem, shisham, ronjh (acacia nilotica) and a silver oak tree. Very slow, methodical probing compared to other phylloscs; usually in low to mid canopy.
