Observation details
[Initially posted as a Cassin's due to the burry song, but feedback from experienced birders suggested that Blue-headed can also produce burry phrases, in addition to the field marks looking better for BHVI.] To be honest, I would have called it a Blue-headed were it not for the burry song, but video grabs seem to show conflicting field marks: on some the line between hood and throat look blurred, and on others they look crisp. Sometimes the head looks olive (could be an effect of leaf reflection), and sometimes it looked "blue". The bird was singing in the videos, and the recording I obtained has several other birds competing, but you can hear the burry song in the beginning.
