Observation details
Went right to location provided by others. Two birds could be heard one on each side of road. After some searching located one in the top of pine. Even though we were several hundred yards from it, everytime I got it in the scope it would reposition itself behind branches. It clearly knew it was being watched. I think my family had more fun watching me repositioning scope up and down the road trying to get some sort of picture. As can be seen the grouse clearly bested me.
