Observation details

Continuing adult male. Braxton and Steve and others were on the bird when I arrived. It started out in the flowering eucalyptus tree in the parking island, then flew to just inside the Nature Area where we could see it in another eucalyptus. While it was there, it called and sang briefly. It then flew to a leafless tree, and then disappeared. Beautiful bright orange bird with black hood and black wings with white wing bars, silvery gray bill and legs.
