Observation details
Continuing rarity. Myiarchus with pronounced dusty brown crest, pale yellow belly, and little to no rufous in tail and wings. Heard “sweet” call as soon as we approached the Nature Center courtyard, and we found the bird perched in a large gumbo limbo tree at 25°42'55.0"N 80°09'03.7"W. It was fairly confiding and continued to vocalize nearly the whole time we were there, making it fairly easy to relocate. Also seen at 25°42'57.1"N 80°09'04.0"W. Photos.
