Observation details
Two attached photos were taken with a 4 minute gap but appear to show the same bird. In both photos a tiny white spot can be seen behind the eye and there is a white mark in front of the eye. Although light reflection could possibly create the impression of these white marks, the same marks can be seen in both photos. Since light conditions differ between these photos it seems highly unlikely that we were seeing the same reflection; i.e., this bird does have the white facial markings of a Spot-fronted Swift.
