Observation details
Continuing. Finally located after hours of combing the hammock around the Nature Center. Initially seen in the small patch of hammock just south of the Nature Center slowly working north towards the Bear Cut Trail where it disappeared. Once found the bird started calling frequently and feeding acrobatically on insects and Gumbo Limbo fruit. Very small Myiarchus; whitish ventrally and rich brown dorsally, short primary projection, distinctive "weep" call, etc.
