Observation details
Both fledglings seen at once. Female feeding them periodically. A CASJ was perched in a bush very close to the refurbished but not yet occupied nest and the female was very agitated. When the jay flew away the fledglings then became visible as well as other birds. At one point one of the fledglings got too close to the other and they physically got into a tussle and flew vertically several times. I guess their territorial behavior starts as soon as they leave the nest! A male periodically would perform the courtship display.
