Observation details
We saw glimpses of Lincoln’s Sparrow moving and feeding in both the grass field and burned fields(fields close to the Parker Preserve Entrance) for over 2 hours. We didn’t use playback. We stayed on the path and did not walk into the fields. We finally got great looks when the Lincoln’s Sparrow was feeding in the leaves for over 20 minutes at the corner of the burn field right across from the Parker Preserve Entrance. Thanks Fleeta for reporting this Sparrow 2/26 and 3/13 at this location. Finely streaked buffy breast that contrast with the white throat and belly. Gray supercilium and buffy malar.
