Observation details

An adult hawk feeding on remains of a large domestic rooster that was frozen solidly to the ground. Other species, northern ravens and American crows, have fed there during past week. It would be hoped that the dead rooster was not previously affected by avian virus, and dumped at Weskeag's parking lot.
