Observation details
Initially thought to be Hemitriccus minor (which would be a new Colombia record) but turned out to be this after further scrutiny. Original comments by Glenn: "Recordings by Glenn and Archie. Fotos by Ben. First seen in a mixed species flock. Caught my attention because of its clean barely streaked chest, very small size, and bicolored bill tipped black. Tried playback for all the Amazonian Hemitriccus I had but no response. On walk back through same habitat, I heard some Hemitriccus calls and we set out to investigate. After about 15 minutes and lots if playback we got on a pair. Great fotos and recordings."
